Offline cattle records for macOS
The herd history,
without another cloud.
Keep animals, pedigree, calving, weights, treatments and sales together—then print or export the records whenever the field needs them.
Inside the actual app
A working herd ledger, not a dashboard mockup.
The native workspace puts the selected animal, identification details and pedigree beside the complete herd list. Status counts and recent activity stay visible without sending ranch data to a web account.

CattleLedger FAQ
Can CattleLedger manage cattle records offline on a Mac?+
Yes. Animals, pedigree, calving, weight, treatment and sale records live in a local encrypted archive and the core workflow does not require an account.
Can I import an existing cattle spreadsheet?+
Yes. CattleLedger previews the CSV, suggests column mappings and lets you review them before import. Duplicate animal tags can be skipped explicitly.
Does CattleLedger replace veterinary advice or prescribe treatments?+
No. It records operator-entered treatment facts and produces reports. It does not diagnose animals, recommend medication or replace a veterinarian.
Can I take records into the field or another system?+
Yes. You can export a printable field sheet plus CSV files for animals, treatments, weights and sales, with JSON data and a SHA-256 manifest.
How much will CattleLedger cost?+
The price is US$49 as a one-time purchase for one Mac, with no subscription. Secure checkout and DMG delivery are handled by Polar.
How will checkout work?+
Polar processes the secure checkout as merchant of record. Available cards and wallets depend on country, browser and device, and applicable tax is calculated at checkout.
